This is a comprehensive course in electronics that covers the basics of electricity, electronics and digital systems. The student will analyze, construct, test, and interface electronic components including resistors, capacitors, inductors, logic gates, combinational logic circuits, flipflops, counters, encoders, and decoders.
Students may choose to test for ETA certification (EM1-5) at the end of the course. Cost for all five testing modules is $125, student pays for testing at the assessment center.

Prospective students must pass the Accuplacer reading and math placement tests, OR an ACT math score of 15 (no older than 2 years from date of application) or a college algebra class with a completion letter grade of C or better.
