This patient care course is the foundation for becoming an Advanced Unlicensed Assistant. Students learn basic skills such as vital sign measurement and recording, feeding techniques, infection control measures, non-sterile specimen collection, and patient positioning. This course is a prerequisites for the AUA program.
You are required to attend an orientation at either 9am or 6pm on the Monday your class starts.
