Hours consist of classroom and demonstration time to prepare new hires for taking the CDL driving test and obtaining the State Dept of Ed (SDE) bus driver certification (required to transport students). This class emphasizes safety. Other topics covered will be the walk around inspection using bus driver checklist, passenger load/offload, RR crossings, emergency evacuations, drug testing requirements for licensure, sound driving practices, and how to obtain the Oklahoma State Department of Education School Bus Driver Certificate. And many hours behind-the-wheel driving instruction is included with this class.
NO INDIVIDUAL DISCOUNTS ON THIS CLASS. Municipal discount applied by Coordinator. Air brakes if needed. At this time, Testing must be scheduled with the Department of Public Safety.

It is the policy of the technology center board of education that students who have paid tuition for adult programs be given full or partial refunds under conditions stated in established guidelines.
A 1098-T Tuition Statement provides documentation you may be able to use to apply for education tax credits when you file your tax return. If you decline to provide your Social Security Number, we will not be able to provide you with a 1098-T.
