Whether you are interested in improving your SolidWorks skills or you are at the beginning stages of learning the software, the best place to start is with our SolidWorks training course. You will learn the interface and navigate the SolidWorks program. You will gain a good introduction to accomplishing common 3D drawing, design and drafting operations with SolidWorks and be prepared to test for the Certified SolidWorks Associate certification. You will have opportunities to participate in many activities and exercises that enable you to put turn concepts into practice. This course will take you from knowing nothing about SOLIDWORKS to giving you all the knowledge and skills needed to become a certified SOLIDWORKS associate. This course should enable you to, with confidence, use SOLIDWORKS to design your next innovation. After this course, you can proudly list your SOLIDWORKS skills in your resume. CSWA certification fee is included.
All MNTC instruction and curriculum is provided in English unless specifically stated otherwise.
Students must have experience using Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and have the ability to use a keyboard and a mouse. No previous computer-aided design (CAD) experience is required, although drafting and/or design experience can be helpful.
Student MUST have access to the Internet.
Student version of SolidWorks does not work with Apple products.
It is the policy of the technology center board of education that students who have paid tuition for adult programs be given full or partial refunds under conditions stated in established guidelines.
A 1098-T Tuition Statement provides documentation you may be able to use to apply for education tax credits when you file your tax return. If you decline to provide your Social Security Number, we will not be able to provide you with a 1098-T.
