This class is for those who want to be challenged to learn more advanced bowl turning techniques and explore the endless possibilities of bowl design. Students will turn and apply finish to the bowl while exploring a variety of forms and techniques which may include creating bowls and rims, adding color to rims, creating a 3 point/bias bowl, and a natural edge bowl. Turning blanks (wood blocks) and tools are provided. Students are welcome to bring their own tools.
Projects are at the discretion of the lead instructor. The goal is for students to take home a completed project, but time constraints or student skills may result in a nearly completed project.
